Nurse Seekers are excited to be recruiting for a fantastic not-for-profit owned Nursing Home in Stoke Newington, North London. My client provides specialist care to those suffering with Alzheimer’s and Dementia, as well as particular physical disabilities. Spread across four floors, this is a purpose built building with communal facilities including a day centre, dining room, sensory room and a newly built spa area. There is a large synagogue which is also used by the local community. The successful RGN Senior Nurse will be clinically confident, have outstanding communications skills and work well within a team. You will take leadership when required and will be a senior member of staff on duty to ensure smooth running of the service. Reporting to the Care Manager, you will be accountable for providing the highest possible standard of care in a professional manner through direct nursing. For this position, you will need to be a RGN qualified nurse and experience in a care home environment is desirable but not essential as full support is given. You, as an RGN qualified Nurse, will be responsible for administering prescribed medicines in accordance with company’s and NMC guidelines, assessing all aspects of each Resident’s care needs, whilst maintaining accurate records and ensuring that each Resident has an Individualised Care Plan.
