Our client is looking for a Head of Care RGN nurse to join their existing dedicated, professional, caring nursing team. The home is part of an exceptional healthcare provider who offer the highest quality of respite, dementia, and day-care and nursing care to their residents. The home is situated in the beautiful area of Ipswich. Our client is looking to recruit Head of Care RGN to work in their vibrant Care home working directly alongside the Home Manager as the Head of Care, which is home to thirty-one residents. For this position, you will need to be an excellent qualified nurse and experience in a care home environment with a clear indication of management experience and qualifications. You will be responsible for administering and overseeing the administration of prescribed medicines in accordance with company’s and NMC guidelines, assessing all aspects of each Resident’s care needs, whilst maintaining accurate records and ensuring that each Resident has an individualised Care Plan. The role includes delivering clinical excellence in a professional manner through direct and effective management styles whilst effectively leading, and supervising a multidisciplinary team. With a kind, caring and calm approach, the successful candidate will have excellent communication and interpersonal skills, along with the ability to establish and maintain relationships with Residents, relatives and colleagues.
