Nurse Seekers are extremely proud and excited to be working for a lovely acute private residential care home based near the picturesque town of Camborne, Cornwall. For this Deputy Home Manager position you will be required to have the relevant management experience and have a minimum qualification of NVQ level 3 in health and social care. In addition this this, registered nurse managers will be accepted if they have relevant experience within a residential setting. As a Deputy Home Manager you will be playing a vital role within the home and will be expected to set high standards to your team, the residents and also their advocates. Also, you will be expected to understand Medication and Care Plan auditing, Management and Rotas of care lease, Pre acceptance assessments and also Supervision and appraisals. You will need to be well equipped to oversee the home in the absence of the Manager to cover all cover all duties required. You will also be required to manage within the CQC legislations and have understanding of employment law and disciplinary procedures, as well as having an approachable personality and a good understanding of the care standards and be passionate about elderly care. Also, this role requires you to be flexible and looking for 20-30 hours per week, and a driving license is a must.
