Registered Veterinary Nurse (RVN) – Full Time Location: Lancing We are working on behalf of a well-established, independent small animal practice to recruit a Registered Veterinary Nurse to join their friendly and experienced team. This is an excellent opportunity for an RVN looking to develop their skills within a supportive and progressive environment. The practice is seeking a motivated and personable nurse who is passionate about delivering high standards of patient care and enjoys working collaboratively within a close-knit team. The Role This is a varied and hands-on position offering exposure to a wide range of nursing duties. The successful candidate will play an integral role in the day-to-day running of the practice. Key responsibilities include: • Theatre and surgical nursing • Inpatient and day patient care • Nurse consultations and clinics • Laboratory work • Occasional reception duties The caseload is diverse and includes work with small animals as well as exotics, including rabbits, ferrets and wildlife. The Practice The practice is a busy, independent clinic with a strong local reputation and a loyal, growing client base. The team consists of three vets and three nurses, creating a supportive and collaborative working environment. Facilities are modern and purpose-built, including: • Separate dog and cat wards and waiting areas • Digital and dental radiography • Ultrasound • Multi-parameter monitoring • Dedicated nurse consulting room The practice also benefits from regular visits from specialists in imaging, cardiology, orthopaedics, dermatology and endoscopy, providing additional support and learning opportunities.
